Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how InteliGems, Inc. (“InteliGems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the InteliGems Advisory website at www.inteligems.io (the “Site”).
Read this Policy together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Websites may also use related technologies, such as local storage, tags, pixels, or similar identifiers.
In this Policy, “cookies” includes cookies and comparable storage or access technologies where the context permits.
2. Legal Basis for Cookies
Some cookies or similar technologies are necessary for a website or privacy-control mechanism to operate.
Other technologies, such as Google Analytics, are non-essential.
Where applicable law requires prior consent for non-essential analytics technologies, including under UK rules governing cookies and similar technologies, we request your choice before enabling Google Analytics.
You may review and update your preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings control provided by the Site.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
The Site currently uses Google Analytics 4 for general website measurement.
Webflow hosts the Site and may process form submissions, but Webflow states that it does not add Webflow tracking cookies to customer websites merely because they are built or hosted on Webflow.
Strictly Necessary / Consent Preference
Our cookie-consent mechanism may use first-party storage to remember the choices you make so that we can respect them on return visits.
| Technology | Provider | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cookie preference storage | InteliGems cookie preference manager | 180 days | Remembers your cookie choices so the Site can respect them on later visits |
The Site uses its own cookie preference manager. It stores your saved preference in your browser under cookieConsent.v1 for 180 days. The preference manager works with Google Consent Mode v2 so analytics storage remains denied until your saved choice permits analytics. This preference storage is used for privacy choices, not advertising.
Analytics: Requires Consent Where Applicable
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Site. They are enabled only after consent where applicable law requires it.
| Cookie | Provider | Typical/default duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Up to 2 years unless configured shorter or limited by the browser | Distinguishes users for analytics measurement |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Up to 2 years unless configured shorter or limited by the browser | Persists session state for the applicable GA4 property |
Browser rules or our configuration may shorten those lifetimes.
The Site’s Google Analytics user-level and event-level data-retention setting is configured for no more than 14 months. Analytics data retention and cookie expiration are separate settings.
Google Analytics may process:
- pages viewed and actions taken on the Site;
- referring website or traffic source;
- browser, device, operating-system, and language information;
- approximate geographic information derived from IP address;
- date, time, and duration of visits; and
- cookie or similar online identifiers used for analytics measurement.
We use Google Analytics for general Site measurement.
Under the practices described in this Policy, we do not intentionally use:
- Google Signals;
- Google Ads remarketing;
- advertising personalization;
- advertising audiences;
- social-media advertising pixels;
- session-replay tools; or
- live-chat tracking tools.
We do not currently use Zoho SalesIQ live chat on the Site.
4. Managing Your Preferences
Cookie Settings
You can accept or reject analytics through the Site’s cookie-consent interface.
You can later change your choice using the Cookie Settings control provided by the Site.
Rejecting analytics cookies does not prevent you from using the public Site.
Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to delete, block, or manage cookies through browser settings.
Blocking all cookies or browser storage may affect some Site functionality, including the Site’s ability to remember your privacy choices.
Google Analytics Opt-Out
Google also provides a browser add-on that can be used to opt out of Google Analytics measurement in supported browsers.
5. Future Website Technologies
We may introduce additional website functionality in the future, for example live chat, embedded media, or another analytics or support tool.
If a new technology stores or accesses information on a visitor’s device or materially changes how personal information is processed, we will review the applicable privacy and consent requirements and update this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy before or when required by law.
In particular, Zoho SalesIQ is not currently deployed on the Site. If it is added later, we will update the relevant disclosures and cookie-consent configuration before enabling it where required.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when the Site, its technologies, or applicable legal requirements change.
We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date.
Where applicable law requires renewed consent for a changed use of cookies or similar technologies, we will request it.
