Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how InteliGems, Inc. (“InteliGems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you visit the InteliGems Advisory website at www.inteligems.io (the “Site”), submit an enquiry through the Site, or otherwise contact us in connection with the Site.

This Policy applies to website visitors, prospective clients, and other individuals who communicate with us in connection with the Site. It does not govern information handled under a signed consulting, advisory, research, implementation, or other client-services agreement. Where a written client agreement addresses confidentiality, privacy, security, or personal-data handling, that agreement controls for that engagement.

For purposes of applicable data-protection law, InteliGems is the controller of personal information collected through the Site unless another arrangement is stated.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information reasonably necessary to operate and secure the Site, respond to enquiries, understand Site use, and manage ordinary business communications.

  • name;
  • email address;
  • telephone number, if requested or voluntarily provided;
  • company, organization, job title, or professional role, if requested or voluntarily provided;
  • the contents of your message or enquiry; and
  • other information you voluntarily include in your communication.

The Site uses Webflow Forms to receive contact-form submissions.

Please do not submit confidential client information, trade secrets, consumer health information, financial-account credentials, government identifiers, sensitive personal information, or other regulated or unnecessary information through a public Site form or unsolicited email.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may process limited technical and usage information, such as:

  • Internet Protocol address;
  • browser type and version;
  • device type, operating system, screen characteristics, and language settings;
  • approximate location derived from IP address;
  • pages viewed, referring page, date and time of visits, and interactions with Site content;
  • technical, diagnostic, security, and server-log information; and
  • Google Analytics identifiers and Site-usage information when analytics is enabled.

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 for website measurement.

Information the Site Is Not Designed to Collect

The Site is a public consulting and advisory website. It is not a client-data repository, hosted client workspace, public API service, or account-based software application.

The Site is not designed to collect consumer health data, biometric data, financial-account credentials, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and communications;
  • discuss or prepare for a potential consulting or advisory engagement;
  • provide information you request;
  • operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site;
  • understand Site traffic and usage patterns;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • maintain ordinary business and administrative records;
  • comply with applicable law and legal process;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
  • send marketing communications only where permitted by applicable law and consistent with the context in which you provided your information.

If we send marketing email, you may opt out by using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message or by contacting us.

We do not use Site personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not use Google Analytics to create advertising audiences or for cross-site behavioral advertising under the practices described in this Policy.

4. Legal Bases for UK and EEA Visitors

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

PurposeLegal basis
Responding to ordinary business enquiriesLegitimate interests in responding to prospective clients and professional contacts; where appropriate, steps taken at your request before entering a contract
Discussing, scoping, or preparing a potential engagementSteps taken at your request before entering a contract
Operating, securing, and maintaining the SiteLegitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable professional website
Understanding Site performance through Google AnalyticsLegitimate interests in understanding Site performance, applied only after any consent required for non-essential analytics technologies has been obtained
Sending marketing communicationsConsent or another lawful basis permitted by applicable law
Complying with lawLegal obligation
Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claimsLegitimate interests and/or legal claims as permitted by applicable law

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether those interests are overridden by your rights and interests, taking into account the limited nature of the Site data and the reasonable expectations of visitors to a professional-services website.

Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising under the practices described in this Policy.

We use service providers to operate the Site, including:

ProviderPurposeInformation involved
Webflow, Inc.Website hosting, operation, technical delivery, and Webflow FormsContact-form submissions and limited technical information associated with Site access
Google LLC / Google AnalyticsWebsite analytics and measurementOnline identifiers, device/browser information, IP-derived information, Site usage, pages viewed, and interaction data when analytics is enabled

Webflow Forms may store form submissions in the Site’s Webflow settings depending on our form configuration.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies or similar identifiers for measurement. We use Analytics for general Site measurement and do not intentionally send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, form-message contents, or other directly identifying contact-form information to Google Analytics.

We may also disclose information:

  • to professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, and auditors where reasonably necessary;
  • to comply with applicable law, court order, subpoena, or valid legal process;
  • to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of InteliGems or others; or
  • in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.

We do not currently use Zoho SalesIQ live chat on the Site. If we introduce live chat or another material website technology in the future, we will review the applicable privacy and cookie requirements and update these policies before or when required by law.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Online Tracking

The Site uses Google Analytics for website measurement.

Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential analytics technologies are placed or accessed, for example under UK rules governing cookies and similar technologies, we request that choice before enabling Google Analytics.

You can manage analytics preferences through the Site’s cookie preference interface and can later change your choice using Cookie Settings. The preference is stored locally in your browser by the Site’s own consent mechanism.

Under the practices described in this Policy, we do not intentionally enable:

  • Google Signals;
  • Google Ads remarketing;
  • advertising personalization;
  • advertising audiences;
  • session-replay tools;
  • live-chat tracking tools; or
  • social-media advertising pixels.

See our Cookie Policy for additional information.

Do Not Track and Opt-Out Signals

Legacy browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals are not used as a separate Site control.

Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising under the practices described in this Policy, we do not currently use an advertising opt-out mechanism for those activities.

If applicable law requires us to recognize a legally binding opt-out preference signal for a processing activity we conduct, we will honor that signal as required by law.

7. International Processing and Transfers

InteliGems is based in the United States. Personal information collected through the Site may be processed in the United States and in other countries where Webflow, Google, and their service providers operate.

Those countries may provide different levels of data protection than your country of residence.

Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or another applicable law requires a safeguard for an international transfer, we rely on a valid transfer mechanism made available by the relevant provider or another lawful mechanism, such as an adequacy framework, recognized data-privacy framework, or approved contractual safeguards.

8. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, subject to legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping requirements.

InformationRetention period
Website contact-form enquiriesUp to 24 months after the last substantive communication, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary
Prospective-client correspondenceUp to 24 months after the last substantive communication, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary

Google Analytics user-level and event-level dataUp to 14 months under the current GA4 configuration
Marketing-subscription information, if offeredUntil you unsubscribe or the information is no longer reasonably needed, subject to records needed to document the opt-out

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it as appropriate, subject to technical backup cycles and legal requirements.

Google Analytics data-retention settings are different from cookie expiration periods. See the Cookie Policy for information about analytics-cookie lifetimes.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of certain personal information;
  • request restriction of or object to certain processing;

UK and EEA Complaints

If UK data-protection law applies to you, you may have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

If EU data-protection law applies to you, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the European Economic Area.

10. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

California

We collect the categories of information described in this Policy, which may include identifiers, professional or employment-related information voluntarily provided to us, and internet or electronic network activity information.

If the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to InteliGems, eligible California residents may have rights that include access/knowledge, deletion, correction, opt-out of covered sale or sharing, limitation of certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights, subject to applicable exceptions.

Under the practices described in this Policy, we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not intentionally use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a California limitation right.

To submit a California privacy request, email legal@inteligems.io with the subject line “California Privacy Request.”

Nevada

To the extent Nevada’s online-privacy provisions apply, eligible Nevada consumers may submit a verified request regarding the sale of covered information at legal@inteligems.io.

Under the practices described in this Policy, InteliGems does not sell covered information for monetary consideration.

11. Sensitive and Consumer Health Data

The Site is not designed to collect consumer health data or other sensitive personal information, and we ask visitors not to submit it through public Site forms or unsolicited email.

We do not use Site information to infer an individual’s health status for advertising, sell consumer health data, or use consumer health data for targeted advertising under the practices described in this Policy.

If our Site practices change so that a dedicated consumer-health-data notice, consent mechanism, or other requirement applies under Washington, Nevada, or another applicable law, we will implement the required notice and controls before intentionally collecting, using, sharing, or selling that data for the new purpose.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information handled through the Site.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for professional and business audiences and is not directed to children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, contact us at legal@inteligems.io.

14. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

InteliGems is not responsible for the content, security, availability, or privacy practices of third-party websites or services.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Site, our practices, service providers, or applicable law.

We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material and applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it.
